Edit: I voted yes, and if there was a poll option to add an emphatic swear word on the front, I would have chosen that one.

I love the fact that the system as a whole is open-game-content, so making a modification or adaptation of any part of it is less daunting, more... amazingly accessable and adaptable. also, despite all these additions to the core rules, there has been... quite frankly, no power creep.

I voted yes, although I still have a fondness for First Edition AD&D. I rember going to a so called "1E" game in Gen Con last year and hearing "THAC0." (Yes I do know that THAC0 was invented in the waining days of 1E but to me it's not 1E unless you have the to hit tables right in front of you, along with the saving throw tables.)
"THAC0" was used in the original AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide Monster Appendix.
