Is Arcane Disciple Broken?

If a wizard that worshipped Pelor and has a Neutral Good alignment, he would be eligible to take Arcane Disciple with the Healing domain. So now the wizard has access to healing spells, doesn't this seem a bit powerful? Which of youe DMs out there allow/disallow this feat and what is your reasoning behind this?

IMHO, not only is it not 'a bit powerful', it is terribly week.

EDIT: Because many of the best feats on the domain lists or nicked from the wizards list anyway, and because it intoduces a Wis requirement, but mostly because you can only use the spells once per day!

glass.

It's absolutely not broken.

You can only cast one of those spells for every spell level each day, which is a pretty good limitation (and in turn makes the feat entirely pointless for spontaneous casters, like the Sorcerer).

You need a high enough WISDOM score to even be able to cast these spells, that means at least a decent score has to be placed in Wisdom.

The only class, where you could argue about brokenness is the Warmage, but even for those, I wouldn't really consider it broken, just very good.

It's not broken. If anything, a little weak. It is a component in one rather broken build - the high level fighter/mage with Arcane Strike, Power Attack, and wraithstrike (combined with the War domain for divine power and righteous might). But it's just a part of that build, and all the parts really need to come together to make it work. If your wizard is using it for a handful of healing spells per day, I'd say it's doing exactly what it's intended to do. He won't match a real cleric for healing, but is a useful emergency source.
