Is Epic Slayer Progression Broken?

From Psionics handbook if your confused:

Using a relatively flat, opinionless, extrapolation I created an epic Slayer progression. This progression is relatively close to the rules presented in the ELH, however, I would like to modify it so that it is not stronger than a fighter, as it is now. This is based on the "Fixed" psionic prestige classes that use +Manifester Level formulas.

11th Level: Bonus feat, +1 Manifester Level
12th Level:
13th Level: Bonus feat, +1 Manifester Level
14th Level:
15th Level: Bonus feat, +1 Manifester Level
16th Level:
17th Level: Bonus feat, +1 Manifester Level
18th Level:
19th Level: Bonus feat, +1 Manifester Level
20th Level:

Another interpretation would be to award bonus feats at levels 13, 15, 17, 19 and all those +10, and also award +1 to Favored Enemy, Illithid at levels 11, 21, 31 and all those +10.

Either extrapolation still seems a bit much, as compared to the two closest classes: Psionic Warrior and Fighter.

Slayers have, among other features: d10 for HD, 4+int skills per class level. They recieve half the manifester level of the class mostly, even if they are a telepath, egoist, or such (thereby giving them better selection than a psionic warrior), and earn feats on odd numbered levels.

At the very least I would have thought you would alternate the feat levels and the manifester levels, so that he gets something each time he goes up a level

I would remove the bonuses to maifester level, as basic (i.e. non-epic) Slayers do not gain those. Then what you have is a class that gets a bonus feat every two levels, and bonus PP every level. It is still more powerful than a fighter, but the base prestige class is more powerful than a fighter, so it makes sense that the epic version would be as well.

Plus, the main requirement (killing an Illithid) is no easy task. Even when you are incredibly high level, if you don't surprise them, they can just Plane Shift away.

Also, restricting the bonus feat list for epic feats would reduce the power level bit more. certainly don't allow them all general, psionic, and metapsionic epic feats.

Heck, the original Slayer was pretty nice, that one is even more powerful. Why would anyone complain that an epic progression was too powerful when the base version itself is too powerful?

Okay, so they are both too powerful. :D
