Is it just me...

You try owning and running a worldwide restaurant chain and being clown at the same time .. you can't juggle both jobs adequately ;)

Yes, for a brief shining moment I did forget the difficulties inherent in being the Lord and Master of a Sprawling Fast Food Empire, and being a clown. My apologies for my insensitivity and gross inconsideration! Poor clown's holding down two jobs, and here I am dissin' him. Sorry...so sorry, everyone! Especially to you, Ronald, you pasty-faced, red-follicled, purveyor of grilled dead cattle flesh!!! :(

A good portion of the expense of Quality fast food is costumer preferences. Do I go to McDonalds for a healthy meal? No. I go somewhere else.
Yeah, but any restaurant will still charge you hefty price tag of $4 minimum for a small bowl of salad or healthy meal, as opposed to the less expensive Loco Moco (that's hamburger steak [patty], 2 eggs, and gravy over rice; and if you're lucky, a small cookie-scoop of macaroni salad).

Now this may sit well with the common skinny college-aged students who don't have fair income, but the rise in obesity is now showing in the form of fat college-aged students who also don't have fair income.

The King is scary, but the Meatnormous Breakfast Sandwich is scarier.

"Meat, on top of meat, on top of meat." It's like a heart condition between two slices of bread.

Regarding Ronald McDonald: i've heard that one of the previous actors released a statement after he quit that basically was an apology for leading so many kids to eat at McDonald's.

Or Charlie Tuna: "I've sold out. There. I admit it. In return for my own life, I'm selling out every 'Chicken of the Sea' out there. Kick me out of their school will they."

Ah, yes. Charlie Tuna, the Uncle Tom of the fish world.

I dunno if it's better or worse than those ads where animals encourage you to consume the other animals instead of them.

As my brother would say, "It's a heart attack... with cheese."

Where I used to live their was this nice Korean Woman & her husband (American Ex-Gi). They owned a small hole-in-the wall eating place. I could get a full meal (Jasmine Rice, Teriyaki Chicken-Vegetable mix & Bulagi [Sp?], and fresh brewed tea for less than 4 dollars.

Where I live now I have 2 chinese places within walking distance where I can eat a healthy meal for less than 5 dollars & usually have enough left over for the next day.

By Chinese. I mean Chinese. Their English Pronunciation is hard to understand, to say the least. If I go once school's let out, one of the places has their son help them out & he can translate.

If you wnat healthy, plentiful, & cheap, you can usually find it. You WON'T find it any massive chain though. YOu have to hunt and find some little local place. And, of course some local places aren't find for your dog. Talk to locals, they should point you in the right direction. (It'll proabably be Asian, too; assuming you want healthy).

PS. The best Mexican I've had was when in Texas & we ate at this Mexican woman's HOUSE. She cooked in the kitchen and served the food on her patio. She turned her house into a cafe.
