Hello everyone *wavers* yea...so it has been a while since I posted *smiles* sowwy...
BUT I am back with important questions
I have always loved to Roleplay and in such I usually liked to run sessions since I found that I got kinda bored as a player. However, the isolated environment which was my 'gaming group' prefered to run hack and slash adventures...in everything...hack and slash Vampire...yea ^_^ if you could get a weapon in it they would create some reason you would need to beat some one with it.
So I would Game Master, but I am just AWFUL with rules. So before each session I would have to reread things that pertained to my session so that I wouldn't get that "but that isn't what the book says" line pulled on me. But then there were just so many rules @_@ I was lost. And players would get "confused" on what their abilities would do so suddenly they COULD hit three targets with their Magic Missle...it says so. And I am not one to check everything ^_^ it is all about trust.
So now I have the chance to play in a Mirc Format. I will be playing, not GMing. So I wonder how my table top problems will transfer over to MIrc. Will things be easier or more confusing as the only mode of communication is through typing.
So what problems occur with MIrc that you have witnessed...and can we get help with some solutions that people have come up with ^_^ an open communication about the flaws and strengths of MIrc games...as I find them very intreging, however I don't want to go into my first game TOTALLY unprepared ^_^
I will be checking back in this a lot ^_^ so share share ^_^ Help a sister out ^_~
