Is Power Attack still a must?

At 1-for-1 in 3.0, it was crap. At 2-for-1 in 3.5 with a two-handed weapon, it was awesome.

In 4E, it's -2 attack, +2 damage 1st-10th, +4 11th-20th, +6 21st-30th with a one-handed weapon; or +3/+6/+9 with a two-handed weapon.

At first glance, it seems to me that every melee character is going to want this, from 11th if not sooner. Am I wrong?

It also goes very well with Reaping Strike. A bit of -hit, but you still do SOME damage if you miss.

Meh looks good to me on a two handed weapon fighter with a greatsword. But that's it.

I can see people who would want it... but personally... eh. No. Hitting is more important.
I ran some KotS encounters and the fighter pretty much ignored the feat entirely.

Though from what I've seen I like the sword and board fighter better than the two handed fighter, and it definitely isn't worth it for sword and board.

It is going to be a tough call - to hits are harder to acquire these days, and missing on your big attack will be rough. At higher levels, you will probably want it and use it mainly on at-wills... or risk it on bigger attacks if you have several conditional modifiers lined up (Combat Advantage, buffs from allies, etc.), or if you are swinging at enemies with low AC (Controllers, Artillery, etc.)
