Is there and E6-only SRD out there?

Does an E6*-only version of 3.5e SRD exist anywhere?

I've hunted around a bit, but I can't a version of the (core 3.5e) SRD that's been stripped down to only E6 applicable bits. I'm thinking of cobbling together something like this for my own convenience. However, it's quite a project (and a fairly subjective one, as well) so I'd like to know if it's already been done and made available somewhere.

* If you're not familiar with E6, it's 3.5 D&D stripped down to 6 levels. It excludes class info beyond 6th level, unavailable feats & PrCs, spells above 3rd level (or 2nd, 1st, depending upon class). It also likely removes magic items with a CL above 6th, as well as monsters above CR12 or thereabouts, or those with abilities wildly out of whack with E6 PC abilities. There are also a few E6-specific feats added that are generally considered necessary to make an entire D&D campaign playable over those low levels.

Here's a link to the original E6 thread, for those unfamiliar with it. About halfway down the first post are a couple PDFs that give a nicely formatted overview. Basically it's a lower power game option that culminates at a point in the game ("
Epic at 6th") where a lot of people feel the game balance and "heroic" feel of the game are optimal, before it crosses into a "fantasy superheroes" playstyle.

I think it sounds like a fantastic idea, and I'd even offer to help with one if you got it started...

The next campaign I run is going to be E6, with some of my own modified races for my homebrewed campaign, and it would be SO nice to have a place to direct my players to read up on E6.

Heh, I might take you up on that. ;)

I'll poke around for a bit longer to see if I can find one already in existence. But if not, I've got a rough outline for approaching the project ready to go.

Look for a post in the next couple days with either a link to an exiting E6 SRD; or else my own ideas to get one started, and a call for input from interested people.

I saw that thread, and after thinking on it a brief while, I think the wiki/website is the way to go, rather than a full-fledged print product.

I like everyone being able to add their own opinions over time.

Yeah, I'm of the same mind. I rather prefer the idea of a community driven project, where folks would agree on a bare minimum "core" and build around that-- and a wiki is certainly the most obvious approach to that, especially the most customizable bits.

Any familiarity with this sort of thing? I'm shooting in the dark here, but certainly interested in making a go of it.

I know that a very basic static website would be fairly easy to get up and running; a really rough draft of E6 would probably be doable in a month, with 6 to 9 more months to complete the clean-up phase and integration of variants and "advanced" material that derive from WotC OGC. The end result (along the lines of an E6 analog to d20srd.org, though probably not as pretty or nicely hyperlinked) would be easily wrapped up into a downloadable file for use offline. (That last bit is a big thing for me.)

I'm not too familiar with the various wiki implementations, but I assume such a static chunk of html can be easily wiki-ized and locked down when it's deemed "stable"? I guess Dandwiki.com is a model here.

I've put a big blast of stream-of-consciousness notes (in the spoiler block) in this post in the "E6 as a book thread" with a very top-level first-glance take on this thing.

Thoughts?
