Is there such a thing as an undead troll???

I was thinking about this the other day. In that a troll keeps regenerating until its body has been consumed by flame or acid, would any circumstances yield an undead troll?

The body doesn't have to be "consumed" by flame or acid. It simply has to be killed by flame or acid.

Big difference.

Even that is not totally correct. Trolls can still die to starvation, suffocation or drowning. They have a super ability to heal themselves, but still need to eat and breath.

Regeneration doesn't work against negative levels or ability damage, either. Plus, there's a whole range of incorporeal undead that don't need bodies.
