I've been designing some monsters with the new Legendary Reaction aspect, and I've landed on some fun stuff. For example, a mage hunter specifically reacting to spells while cast in melee, or an aberration that immediately reacts to a creature receiving healing.
I think the fun thing about it is increasing the puzzle aspect of battles. If my players realize, "oh, this guy hits like a truck whenever I heal", then they might instead focus on buffs they wouldn't normally use, or tactics that often don't get more spotlight.
I don't like the idea of a party build that could completely negate Reactions, though. I'll probably see if/how that comes up in play before I do anything about it.
