Wizards quite clearly sought to revoke the OGL, and over reach in terms of somehow squeezing blood from the stone of 3PP content.
agreed, and they usually just walked away, this is not the same as having been tested in courtTSR sued plenty of people for using this stuff in the 80s before the OGL and in the early years of the internet they would actually send C&D letters to people putting stuff on the internet.
What they did not do is cancel OGL 1.0a.
