So, if you were Itch.io and your choices were to lose access to the payment processors and keep material that included the following listed things:

or to keep easier on your side of things delist everything and then have it resubmitted and approve it, what would you all have done?

I repeat that my problem with this whole situation isn't that itch io delisted these things. My problem is that they did it because of pressure from payment processors.

At this point I suspect if I make something I will put it out on my own website for free. It is clear between this and AI that the scum will not rest until making living being creative is literally impossible.

So--just to make sure I understand the issue--

Mastercard and Visa told them "remove this material immediately or lose our services," and if Itch.io didn't do as they demanded, everyone who wanted to buy anything at Itch.io (regardless of whether it was deemed NSFW or whatever) wouldn't be able to use their debit or credit cards to do so.

So Itch.io agreed to do what the credit card holders demanded, and lots of people found their materials delisted practically overnight without any chance to defend themselves.

Is that accurate? (Serious question, not trolling.)
