[Item Creation] Horn of Feindish Dire Boar Summoning

I had the (mis)fortune of fighting a feindish dire boar a few levels ago. My character is a druid, and he takes small trophies (usually teeth) from his kills. After we dispatched this boar, I nabbed a tusk. I think it'd be neat to carve the thing into a Horn and enchant it to summon a fiendish boar once a day, or some such. Summon Nature's Ally would be the spell to work off of, but since fiendish creatures arn't on that ally list, what would you all suggest I do?

Summon Nature's Ally IV will get you a dire boar... might I use SNA VI to make up for the +2 LA from the fiendish template?

The fiendish template will only add +1 to the boar's CR... might SNA V work the best then?

SNA VI would summon you a dire bear... is a fiendish boar worth the increase in spell level and creation cost when I could just summon a dire bear?

Should I ditch the idea of summoning a fiendish anything and just go for a straight run-of-the-mill boar?

How would you price an item that summoned 3 fiendish dire boars once per day?

I'd say that you'd need the help of a wizard/sorcerer/cleric, since fiendish dire boars (henceforth referred to as FDBs) are (IIRC) on the summon monster list. Your version could summon a regular dire boar. Alternately, if your DM is a flexible type, he might say that carving it out of the boar tusk would suffice to let you add the fiendish template, but regardless I would treat it as a spell of whatever level it takes to summon a FDB using Summon Monster. (SMV, I think)

There are two ways - either a treat it as a maximized spell of level +1 (bad idea from your perspective as it makes it a spell of level+4) or a spell of level+2 and begging the DM to let it always take a slightly under average roll (1d4+1 critters, avg result is 3.5). Level in this case is the level of the spell to summon a single FDB.
