Which errata would that be? It is not in the DMG errata!

EDIT: It is not in the D&D FAQ, either.

I don't even know what he's talking about, AGGEMAM. Can somebody translate this for me?

UghhhhhhhhhhhhhhRAGHHHHH IT BLIMY WELL DOES!!!! I've seen the errata, and does the fact that it scales it self instead of being multiplied by the Crit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Sigh*

What the heck does that mean? ;) Seriously.

Can weapons that have powers that invoke upon a successful crit be used against creatures who cannot be crited?

If I score a threat and a crit with a flame burst weapon against a zombie, does the extra 1d10 fire damage happen?

I know all that. I thought he was talking about something else though. Hard to get through all the roaring. ;)

Not according to the rules, and no it is not in any errata I have seen. You must crit to be able to use Thundering, and since undead cannot be crit'ed...well, it seems obvious what the answer is to me. Please provide some reference if this is true.

I don't see any reason to allow this to work by the rules. If it's a roleplay flavor issue, that you just really want the sonic deal, ask your DM to change the 'thundering' to work just like icy burst. That way, you deliver +1d6 sonic damage with every hit, and then extra damage on a crit. And take off the deafness effect, or else increase the weapon bonus to +3 market price. Just some suggestions.

Of course, there would still be no way you could crit a creature that cannot be critted.

I figured you did, but a little recapping for those who can't follow "insane yelling through a keyboard" is never a bad thing.
