It's hot!

Ugh. Vacationing in east Texas this week. Compared to my midwest weather this humidity is going to be the end of me. Tried to take the kids to the park to play- that lasted about ten minutes and even they were like - "it is hot out here, let's go back." Seems the temps are about the same, but the humidity is a good bit higher.

Apparently the humidity is a lot worse here. I just couldn't help but think, "You're from southern Cal....suck it up..."

A few years ago I was in San Diego for work, and noticed when I walked under an overpass out of the sun, it was *cold*. So, yeah, they're a lot drier.

I'm just happy that our most recent heat wave broke.

The good thing about 100 degree days is that it makes 90 degree days seem cool.
