It's October...

My intepretation is that we should see the regular articles coming up soon, (3 updates/week), and the pdf collected edition will be at the end of October.

Cheers,
Merric

This is why I'm not in customer service. I'd be in prison for murder by now. :)

"It's coming in October" can mean anything from October 1st to October 31st. But, without fail, when the earliest possible definition arrives, and it's not there, someone has to start complaining about it not being there. Oy.

"Dungeon & Dragon Magazines" (Source) -- "D&D Insider is the place to receive news about upcoming releases, errata and rules clarifications, previews of future 4th edition products, exclusive game content, and D&D adventures for all levels of play. Dragon and Dungeon magazines bring you the fun every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — with collected “issues” at the end of each month."
On the launch of the digital magazines: "At the end of October, our first pdf issues will be out. We finally have a page layout, which is great. It's also interim/test material. We'll be looking for feedback on everything. We're already working on the 4th Edition versions, which I'm more excited about. What we'll be rolling out in a month is a sort of hybrid in look between 3rd and 4th Edition. Our art director, Stacy, did an awesome job putting it together on short notice. It will be even better when we can fully commit to a 4E look."

If articles are released Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and collected at the end of the month, and furthermore if a collected issue is to be released at the end of October, why is it unreasonable to assume that an article might be released on a Monday in October? If articles aren't released, what's going to be in the collected version?

Personally, I don't care, but it's not an unreasonable belief.

First article's up, btw. Congratulations mouseferatu!

I don't believe that counts as a Dungeon or Dragon article (since it's not under either tag).

It's under a Dragon tag...

EDIT: Although it would seem more appropriate to be Dungeon.

My guess is that all web enhancements to hardcopy published material are going to fall under the Dragon purview, even if the content happens to be adventure-based.

Thanks. :)

I have to admit, I'm really impressed at the artwork they got to go with it. Not only is it mostly spot-on, in terms of detail, but it's incredibly high-quality. (I've already made the first pic my new computer wallpaper.)

It's a great sign at how seriously they're taking the new digital material. :)
James Zhang's artwork has really added to the overall package!
From just a quick glance, this is really impressive. Congratulations to you Ari. :)

Best Regards

I actually meant to type "tab" (which only has a preview of the upcoming issues). Now that I look under the "Features" tab, I see the tag for Dragon.

It's a bit strange... I would have expected web enhancements to have their own tag.
