It's October...

Yes.... But it's still Wednesday somewhere in the world so they have a few hours left yet. :uhoh:

You never know it might actually already be up, considering how well publicised the first article was*.

*Still no mention of it on the Dragon homepage or the Dragon Tab on the D&D page.

I'm wondering who's idea it was to have the debut of the new dragon be in the same week the final PHB copy needs to be turned in...

I don't see why this would matter. The PHB is being handled by design. At this point the "magazine" articles should be done with the web team working on formatting and scheduling.

So far they aren't even replacing Dragon and Dungeon at this rate just making you pay for Web Enhancements you use to get for free.

I don't think that's the way it will be when D&D Insider goes to a paid model. It doesn't make sense. Web Enhancements often serve to persuade people to buy a product (as it evidently has persuaded Ant).

If Web Enhancements stick around, that is - registering your products to unlock bonus content might well replace that. If they, or some other form of preview article, remain, I'd wager they end up being part of the free content that WOTC has said will remain.

Not only that they have updated the Dragon Tab, Dragon homepage and done a new Editorial and shown the cover.

This is more like a launch.

I think that Fortress Article was just a big mistake.
