I'm starting to seriously think about running Eberron, but I'm in pretty much the same boat: it looks like so much fun that I'm really wishing I could play it!

Oh dear. It's probable that I'll want to run it when it comes out here. Assuming I ever get a chance to buy it with the GoL figures also staring at me...

Cheers!

I think most people are wanting to get someone else to run it so they can play.
Oh hell yes. I wants to play a warforged... or a grizzled dwarven detective with his trusty gnome assistant and his companion black, furry dog.

Do the T-Rexes eat the drow?

If so, finally, a good use for drow! ;)

Yeah, the drow are sitting there debating the important things in life, like how to look cool dual-wielding scimitars and pondering just how their racial name really is pronounced, when the T-Rex gobbles them whole.

lol...that is great. :)

But, what if the drow can control the T-Rex's??? Like the halflings of the talenta plains being able to have ties with the dinosaurs there. That would be scary to see a drow riding a T-Rex and guiding it towards the players.

And another element of Eberron that I just wanted to add to the growing list of things I love about the setting; the fact that almost all Aberrations are collectively the creations of the Daelkyr. Gives them all a common heritage and perhaps even physiology to an extent that for the first time since the inception of the third edition rules explains why a Ranger's favored enemy bonus would apply to them as a group.
