So, it's been one year, today, that I signed into En World. Pretty crazy stuff, actually :p

Funny thing is, I got this weird feeling, "huh, I wonder when I signed up here - I know it's coming up, but I thought it was sometime in September...." So I go into my profile, and loe and behold (!) today is the day :)

Wow... I can't seem to come up with the words to thank you guys enough for everything you've done to improve my game. I've been exposed to new houserules, new ideas, new concepts, new friends (Genshou, Dog Moon, Primitive Screwhead, Nightfall, Aus Snow, Raven Crowking and a few others I might have (sorry!) forgotten) and new experiences.

En World has really opened me up, in many ways.

I will try different gaming systems now. I will read new books now. I have opened up my eyes to alternative and very interesting ideas now. There are so many things; my houserules list has grown with every awesome suggestion here on EN World :)

Hell, I know what Cthulu is now, and that Conan the barbarian isnt some crappy TV show my dad used to watch ;)

So, I would like to officially thank each and every one of you guys, girls, ghouls and goblins who have ever given me a great idea, joked along with me, said somehting interesting, or affected me in any positive way here.

--Nyaricus, a most greatful (and proud!) Ennie :D

Well my good metalhead ... I applaud you. I'm only nine months old maself ... I lost about 250 posts' worth with the crash ... making at best a total of 850 or so. You certainly have outspit me with numbers of posts, that's for sure!

And about the pc stats .... ;)

Congrats from a stranger here. But if I may be permitted to diverge a little from your celebration, what's this about Conan the Barbarian I'm reading about here? :D

If you're interested in Conan, it might also interest you to know that the complete Conan stories are in print, as Howard wrote them, for the first time in Lo these many years (3 volume set, including unfinished stories, synopsis, etc.).

Also, there is a set of the Howard Weird Tales stories that is currently being printed. It is supposed to run in a 10-volume set when done. I currently have vols. 1-3 (and am reading through Vol 2). Good stuff.
