I've given up on WotC's message boards. What about you?

I'd post my true opinions on the WotC forums, but... Eric Noah is a nice man.

Truthfully, I don't post there often anymore.

Well that's not only for Eric, I hope!
If you can't give us an opinion while remaining polite and civil, then don't. Good call. :)

I would try Google with an advanced search. That's what I use here, too, until my community supporter account might get activated some day.
Do you have a problem with your supporter account?

I think the list of people who have problems with their supporter accounts is legion. Morrus hasn't succeeded yet with activating the accounts that have been deleted either by the crash or by buying an extension. It will most probably take him a few months more to correct that ;).

When I used to post there, I always felt like I was talking to/dealing with a bunch of kids. I hope that doesn’t come across as belittling- I think it’s great that there are so many young people enjoying the hobby.

When I made the switch from 3.5 to True20 and C&C, I abandoned the WoTC forums altogether, though.

There's no way to get access to the Search function on Wizards' boards, right?

The search function is supposed to be re-enabled once the new boards come up on live. The new boards feature a lot of new coding and graphics. They were supposed to go live in late May, but there were some glitches.

I post there quite a lot, but only really frequent the Mystara board. I enjoy that board because the board offers a lot more options for posting than the Mystara Mailing List (graphics, notably, hyperlinks, etc.), not to mention that the MML has been a lot more quiet than it used to.

I peek in on the other boards now and then, but Mystara is the only one I really like.

Tur,

Well you never know about people...they might find a way to come over and kill me. Even if they can't do it over a BB.

At least you know now that it's not a good idea to shout a Steelers' fan something about the Scarred Lands into his ears while you sit next to him in the stadium.

Yeah well it was actually at a Pirates Game when I was trying to read LotR and someone spilled beer on my book. And I wasn't happy and then he proceeded to nearly snap my neck before my dad intervened...

Silly since the Pirates lose all the time.

The only time I ever posted regularly on WotC's message boards was when I was playing pbp games there and on the Greyhawk forum. I still check by the Greyhawk forum every now and then, but I rarely spend much time there. So I voted "other." I am more of a lurker but there was a time I was an avid poster.

When it comes to D&D messageboards, enworld is simply the best. The people here are by far the most mature and generally have the best knowledge of the game. Plus, enworld is a lot like a community of folks who all want to help each other and I've found a ton of great ideas while surfing these boards.

Although there is one: when I found out that any messages on the WotC boards that are about katanas are automatically locked - no questions asked - I found that somewhat ridiculus.

They are??? LOL. Yea, that doesn't surprise me.
