At 13,397 you have to already be in the top 1% of posters. Are you aiming for the top .01% or something like that?! :uhoh: :D

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be there before midnight. Only three more posts to go, and you'll gain one just responding to this post! ;)

I'm aiming for #5 mininium by the time 2007 rolls around. If not there, at least #2. Crothy needs me as his "successor!" ;)

 I just looked at the member list. Can you believe that over half the pages list zero posts?! That's something like 19600 members that have never posted! Disguarding them, as 12th from the top, you are currently somewhere around the top 0.06476% of posters.

I find it odd to discover that - having always thought of myself as a bit more of a lurker than an active poster - I am yet on page 60 in the top posting list - out of 1270+ pages. Even disgarding those that have never posted, that still puts me in the top 10.2944% of posters - far higher than I had ever considered even remotely likely. On the other hand, quite a few only post a few times, it seems, for one does not break 100+ posts until page 106. From that perspective page 60 is a bit more of where I would expect myself to be on the list.

It must be time for bed. I'm rambling. G'night.

Irked enough to maybe start banning? *slight panic...*
I don't have the authority to hand out bannings here or there. If you want to get banned by me you'll have to do something truely atrocious at Nutkinland, and considering how lax the rules are there that is no easy feat.

I just kind of poke around on a few of their boards, with two exceptions. I really like reading the Eberron forum. Detailed information from the creator and lots of really good campaign ideas.

That being said, I consider the Character Optimization (CO) board to be a holy grail. As a DM I get to find out about potentially game-breaking combinations before they happen. I also get ideas for really, really unique and different NPCs (the only catch being that I have to tone them down a bit). And no one, not anyone, knows the rules better than CO regulars. As a player, the ideas for characters are endless. You just have to take the board with a grain of salt, since the posters are admirably intense about it.

If you ever feel like taking the D&D Rules forum here to the extreme, I highly recommend checking it out.
