Jeff Dee Art Gallery Update

That art is very typical of scifi and fantasy fan art of the 70s (and into the 80s). If you can get hold of old fanzines or books like the annual Fandom Directory, you'll see a lot of art very much like that in style, theme, and mood.

I loved V&V. It was my favorite of the Superhero RPG genre.

Anyway to get copies of an old V&V rulebook?

Fantasy Games Unlimited finally has a new url:
http://www.fantasygamesunltd.com/

You can order the V&V game from them for $8 (US), plus they have a ton of the modules available. Click on the Catalog link and then 'V' to find the V&V Stuff. Hmmm... I might have to check out a few other FGU products (such as Bushido, Flashing Blades & Space Opera :p).

Cheers,
Tim

Memories...

Heya:

Wow, yeah, thanks for that link. I followed it and I'm going to order V&V, Space Opera, and Aftermath. Never really played the latter two, but loved the rules. We used to play the heck out of V&V. In fact, we would sometimes play "Danger Room": roll up a V&V character (completely random powers, gotta love 'em, tho we disallowed open-ended things, or forced bionics to be stat enhancers) and then duke it out. Good times!

Thanks,
Dreeble

I've been meaning to ask - would it be possible to post the Melnibonean pics from the older editions of Deities & Demigods? I understand the copyright problems originally, but couldn't the pics themselves simply be renamed? Nothing about them labels them as being Moorcock's creations, when you look at them by themselves.

You are becoming one of my all-time favorite posters. :)

What can I say, I like Jeff Dee art. :)

Click here for a sample of Jeff Dee's inks.

[hint]If only there was a gallery of Erol Otus stuff...and/or Jim Holloway...[/hint]

Don't tempt me. ;) I like the idea of an Erol Otus and/or De Leuw gallery...

I would would post them if I had them. [hint][hint] :)

Actually, I could use some help locating a pic... Does anyone have a copy of the old Basic Edition D&D with the Erol Otus cover (1981)? If so, could you please scan the pic of the female warrior with sword in hand (it's in the first half of the book IIRC) and send it to me? I would greatly appreciated it. My email is: hartin@paratime.ca

Oh, one more thing... I screwed up with last night's update - that should be two new pics in the Misc D&D Art page. I forgot to mention the new AD&D Rogues Gallery image.

Cheers,
Tim
