Did anyone catch the latest episode? On one hand it seems like they're speeding things up...looks like they want to get some kind of resolution in the shortened second season they've been granted.....but the episodes have actually been pretty good!

Tonight was rather momentous.....it's going to be interesting to see how Stanley and Jake react..

We knew that before the new season began. CBS ordered only 7 episodes. It's make-or-break time. If CBS orders another cancellation, I better buy some peanuts.

I like the fact they brought back Ravenwood. I don't care what Major Beck says. The conflict between Jericho and New Bern still isn't over.

It would also be interesting if Hawkin can blow the conspiracy whistle on Valente and the ASsA.

I like this show a lot. However, it does indeed seem to have been sped up. Too bad. I wish it had time to play out longer, more like Lost, with more substories and a slower revelation of the main plot. However, from what I've read about the ratings, I'm guessing we're down to the last two episodes period....

Well, from what I understand (yes, I knew about the 7 episode thing), when granted 7 more episodes, they planned out a story arc that would somehow grant a perceived "end", with an emotional payoff etc. for if the show wasn't renewed a second time, while at the same time leaving things open enough that if they were granted a third season, they would have room to move, and keep going forward with the story.

I suspect that the Ravenwood arc will be resolved next week, and we know that this week, they finally know a big piece of information behind the actual attacks, which could be perceived as solving the mystery....so maybe the plan is for a Ravenwood resolution, and a perception that the mystery is solved. If they get a continuance for a 3rd season, then they'd proceed with depicting what they do with the information about the conspiracy, and how they go about trying to bring it down.

I agree. I really enjoy the show and the last episode...wow, what a slam bang run. I really didn't see that end coming. I also like the back and forth between Hawkins and Beck, I want some more.

I heard that the producers of Jericho have quietly looked into taking the show to another network if they aren't picked up.

So, how would you guys rate this show? Does it make it anyone's top-three must-see-TV list? The premise is interesting, and the episodes look easy enough to find on the web.

I liked it, but as others said, I wish they had more time to develop the stories.

As for how much I like it, it's easily one of the top two shows of the year (along with Lost)

Too bad Goetz is so obvious as a villain.
As soon as I knew there was money missing, I knew he did it and would go after Mimi and her ledger. I didn't know Bonnie would start shooting the Ravenwood guys.

I put Jericho in my top three shows to watch along with Lost and Heroes. I would have liked this season to be longer but I'll get what I can get. I too didn't see the ending coming and was choking up.
