Judges Guild... I think?

Scribble

First Post
Hopefully someone out there can help me out with this... A long long time ago... like 97ish? I owned I think a judges guild product, and I remember the map (somewhat) but not much else.

(It was stolen when my car was stolen. Got the car back, but sadly not the gaming material.)

I remember the map had Blackmoor on it, but it wasn't the Blackmoor setting.

Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Only other map I remember having Blackmoor on it is the Greyhawk/Oerth maps. So if you had either the Greyhawk boxed set or folio maps? It was definitely either JG or TSR, as far as I recall of Blackmoor getting published at that time.

Hrmm... I didn't... But I remember I bought the Judges Guild product used... so maybe someone forgot they stashed a map in there...

I can only recall seeing Blackmoor on two maps: the classic Greyhawk campaign setting map, and the four Blackmoor-based BECMI modules (e.g. DA1-DA4).

Possibly also in the old Masters ruleset from BECMI? There was a line map of Mystara on the inside cover, which might have had the outline area where Blackmoor was located.

"Blackmoor" in the thread title might attract helpful people who would otherwise pass it up!

I think I saw somewhere a map placing Blackmoor in relation to the JG campaign maps, but I don't think it was part of a JG product unless it was an issue of Pegasus or the like.

A Blackmoor site (e.g., Arneson's if it's still up) would be one place to look. One might also inquire of the collectors at the Acaeum.

One of the original 70s Judges Guild Wilderlands products featured a map of the Wilderlands with Blackmoor placed to the North of the Valley of The Ancients map; I can't remember which one, probably a Wilderlands of... product or one of the City-States, but it definitely existed.
