July purchases...

It was a heavy vigilance press month for me:

Prometheus, an early scifi d20 setting
The entire clash of series of d20 class books:
Clash of Arms Cavalry
Clash of History Witch Trials, an interesting sorcerer power up variant
Clash of Kings Guilds and Money
Clash of Kings Nobility

Questers of the Middle Reams Book of Bewildering Beasts, not d20 but I find monster books evocative and fun in general.

Martial Arts Mayhem volume 1 d20 Martial Arts stuff. I don't really care for the free mechanical benefits of the OA type martial arts styles, but this has plenty of neat stuff as well for general warrior and monk use that I will allow in my games.

Relics and Rituals II Finally got a pdf to complement my author's copy :)

I plan on getting a pdf dragon magazine and 5 1e D&D pdfs from paizo later this month, I just have to decide which ones.

Of course acquisitions outpaced reading, I just finished reading Burok Torn, the monster sections from a bunch of my Avalanche Press pdfs, and I'm in the middle of reading Monsternomicon I 3.5 (I'm up to "E"). Monsternomicon I'm enjoying but I'm surprised at the high number of mechanical errors in it (deathjack with no construct bonus hp, humanoids without subtypes, dune prowler missing special attack entry in the stat block).

My brother recently got Complete Champion and the Critical Hit Deck.

Complete Champion has lots of neat little mechanical bits.

The critical hit deck was fun even though I was fighting a lot of undead in our game. I was glad my eldritch knight had all four heart of element spells from Complete Mage.

I see that WotC has put their pdfs on sale again. I might forgo the old edition ones for cut and paste material for Lord of the Iron Fortress (which I'm currently running) and the Fiend Folio, or maybe just get the Spell Compendium for the cut and paste of spells.

D'oh! I forgot that I ordered this and the QMR core book from Lulu (an impulse buy)!

Voady,

You waited THIS long for a R&R PDF?!! Man...

JD,

Like I said in another thread a few weeks back, you need some help with ST in Scarred Lands, don't hesitate to ask. :) Or just an SL question in general.

Heir,

Exag didn't go the way I expected. I had thought it might be more...Far Realmsian. Mostly though it was just Greyhawk. :p

I'm not running the adventure path either BUT I wanted it for Iggy, Charon and of course Orcus. :)

I plan on it! In fact, I'm very seriously considering running a Scarred Lands campaign using Bones (the whole "custom dice" thing seems like a lot of fun). I'll post a link to the website (i.e., my campaign website) on the other thread when I get it up and running.

3 cases of Night Below
1 lone pack of Night Below
Forged for War (The new Eberron book) which I have yet to read.

August I hope to get MM5.

WoD Belial's Brood

I enjoyed Belial's Brood quite a bit. Good VtR supplement.

In the past month, I've bought Eyes of the Lich Queen, which I haven't read as of yet. I'm going to get Secrets vol. 1 and 2 for Cadwallon once I'm in France.

I also received D0 - Hollow's Last Hope and D1 - Crown of the Kobold King from Paizo, which I ordered previously. I like them both a lot.

Od,

You getting the Pathfinder stuff? Cause I am interested and considering we'll have Sean K Reynolds doing the write ups for the gods, it might prove very useful.

JD,

Looking forward to seeing it. I also started a new "Ask the Sage" thread...only cause I felt like it. :p

Well, I just got back from my LFGS, and I got lucky!

I picked up the following, on sale, new (heavy discount):

Monster Manual II
Tome of Magic
Complete Champion

...and they threw in for free:

20-ft Chaos Burst (transparency/template)
D&D Campaigns: Marked Man
D&D Campaigns: Things Fall Apart
D&D Campaigns: The Graywall Incident

..me so happy, me want to cry! :p
