July purchases...

MM4 and I have to say despite how much bashing I have seen of this book on these boards, I am really quite pleased with it.

Next up on my list: Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk

I just ordered this week my first book (SW Saga) from Amazon UK. I've been going to my LGS for almost 15 years now, but this week I finally got fed up with their indifferent attitude towards customer service (it's not everybody there, I admit, just those who've been there for as long as I've been going there :P They got a lot of good guys there too, these days, but I digress.)

I can't believe it's still around 40% cheaper, even with the added P&P from UK to Finland.

I order most things from Amazon (cheaper, easier, etc.). Recents orders include:

Volo's Guide to Waterdeep
Expedition to Undermountain (I've decided to use the old box instead of the book.:\)
Shadowdale: The Scouring of the Land
Three novels:
Shadowstorm by Kemp
The Orc King by RAS
Swords of Dragonfire by Greenwood

Voady,

You waited THIS long for a R&R PDF?!! Man...

Still haven't bought Creature Collection III or the Savage Tribes ones on pdf yet even though I'm a contributing author on both.

I'm not in a rush, I will get them eventually.

Even though I pick up a pdf every month of a gaming book that I have in hard copy I have a big collection and there are others with better price ratios or more direct correlations to the games I'm currently running. So many pdfs, so much gaming goodness to get and enjoy.

Od,

You getting the Pathfinder stuff? Cause I am interested and considering we'll have Sean K Reynolds doing the write ups for the gods, it might prove very useful.

Oh yeah, absolutely! I am a subscriber, and plan, after buying/reading D0 and D1, to subscribe to the GameMastery modules as well. The quality's outstanding all around, to me. Paizo gives me what I want for my D&D these days, so I keep purchasing. :)

And that's not only because of Sean. Nicolas Logue, Erik, James... I mean... that's like a dream team of designers to me.

Oh. And to my list of July purchases, you can add Cadwallon's Secrets, volumes 1 and 2, in French, which I am now reading. :)

Hmm, July is just a dead month for me. If I buy anything, it will be older stuff, and I do not even expect that. Next month is thin, too, with only Expedition to Greyhawk possibly on the list.

Voady,

Okay...*eyes you with suspicion* I just figured as contributor you'd want more than just a hard copy. I know I did/do.

Od,

Good deal! I know, for me, the preview shown for dealing with Runelords has some very INTERESTING applications, especially toward altering it for the Scarred Lands.

Monsternomicon II
Monster Manual V

That is all. Though I might pick up the WHFRP: Bestiary book during the upcoming 'd20 dry months.' That's a snazzy looking book, though hella expensive for its size.
