City of Heroes for me too LOL... I love it ;) maybe some Knight of the Old Republic too... and Never Winter Nights... unless find somehting cool at Best Buy tonight ;)

Since my gaming computer died-no more City of Heroes :( But I was getting Eric's chore syndrome.

Right now though its all about Tales of Symphonia. Old schoolish rpg goodness.

I'd like to do that myself, but not only do I not have the game yet, I only know one other person with a GBA (though one of his relatives has one).

Remember that you need those GBA/GC link cables, too. One comes with the game, but you need more for multiplayer.

Good game, I'd suggest Jedi Academy as well if you ever get the opportunity to play it.

I don't know if Jedi Academy is out for cube, and I won't be looking for it for pc, since my pc can't even handle Jedi Outcast, but hopefully, going to university next year, I'll be able to play it on my laptop (whatever kind it may be).

Since I can't resist a chance to pimp them whenever possible, I'll suggest Prince of Persia the Sands of Time and Beyond Good & Evil if you haven't played the yet. They're out for PC and all three consoles, and BG&E is $20 across the board.

I have one already, get the extra players is the real problem.

It's not, but then that's why I said if you ever get the chance.

Laptop: Do they make you get a laptop to go, give you one (hah!), or is it just something you want for starting out?

Regardless, unless it the laptop you get ends up being rather old it shouldn't be a problem playing these two games, their minimum requirements are rather low by todays standards.

Thought so. I'm thinking of stocking up on a few games, since I will have to be studying ;). I was thinking about getting an mmorpg, but paying monthly is just not my bag as a student who will be debt-ridden.

I'm getting a laptop so I can take it to class with me for computer science (see my other thread: http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1671954 for the discussion)

I see. I was able to play a demo of Jedi outcast one time on my pc, which is running a P3 266, but it was hell...

-City of Heroes(Fear the power of The Human Popsicle and Captain Vimes, both on Liberty)
-Horizons(Woo, playing a Dragon!!)
-Rouge Squadron III(On GC...not really playing this much, but its there)
-Civ Call to Power(Addicted to this...again)

Battlefield: Vietnam if I need to shoot people

Civ III: Conquests otherwise, pity I suck at it now :(

Max Payne 2: didn't take me long to get through that, but fun anyhow

Been buying more 'n more DnD stuff, so havn't had the cash to be picking up PC type fun.

I'd probably get Jedi Academy, if I could find it somewhere for $20 or so, as I liked the Demo and played it quite a bit. Prefered the look and style of the dual sabers, but did FAR better in combat using the double-saber, go figure. Sort of fits my DnD playing choices, I prefer to play casters (most Wizard), but my skills in that area.. :heh:

This is me. No game has reallly grabbed me lately, forcing me to play non stop for a day. Maybe it is just because I have been sticking to console games lately. The god awful controls and very few deep games has left me with very few good choices. Too bad all the good PC releases are are arriving later this year.
