Just got Dragon 315 - Campaign Classics

Taladas covers two prestige classes:
Companion of the Dead - for gnomes only;
Shark Cultist - evil worshippers of sharks.

I'm not meaning to tease, I haven't read this issue yet.
So read it man! We're waiting on pins and needles! :D

What are these settings? They ring a bell, but I can't recall...
Masque of the Red Death covers Victorian Era gothic earth. Sundered Empire is the Chainmail miniatures world.

I'm surprised they put Blackmoor and Hollow World in there, as I can't imagine many people from this current 3ed group who remember/know about it.

And, I'm just being a knob here, but do you really consider Ghostwalk, or The Sundered Empire to be "classic"? We're talking about settings that were written up only 1-2 years ago. Does a setting merely have to go "unsupported" for it to be considered "classic"?

Otherwise, it sounds like cool beans, through and through.

Mmm, Dark Sun. Yummy. For those who have an interest in these "old" settings, check out the "Other Roleplaying Worlds" category of forums over at WotC. And Athas.org for Dark Sun ;).

Is 'defiler' a prestige class?

I posted a bit of a preview over on the WotC boards. HERE.

Word is also that Dave Noonan is authoring a future Dark Sun 3.5 article for Dragon and Dungeon. Possibly a "min-conversion" of the setting.
