Just saw Avatar, the last airbender

Looks pretty cool. Has a solid, simple story-line and interesting characters. And this is coming from a person who doesn't like most anime. Any opins?

It was a very good in my estimatition. I liked the use of elements and the combat using them. I can't wait to see Ang discover and use more facets of his powers. Too bad it is going to be playing new episodes Friday nights at the same time as my Stargate shows. Maybe they will play reruns on a different day/time.

Talk about timing! As soon as I read your post, I checked Nickelodeon, and the show was just starting.

For an American made anime, it was very well done. It's obviously aimed at an audience younger than me, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

First Lost, then BSG, and now this. What's up with all this good TV??

Since my son loves Jimmy Neutron and Fairly Oddparents, as do I , I saw a lot of commercials for it. I TIVOed it and haven't watched it yet. I'm glad to read people liked it.

I thought it was pretty darned good myself.
Though I do agree that it is aimed at the 10-12 set.
Heh. And this is from a woman who absolutely hates most anime.

benders make great pc classes?
something like a monk prestige class.

Excellent show so far. The duel between two firebenders in episode (3?) was just...brilliant.
