I have been wishing for a live action movie of the Justice League since the animated series started., so naturally I'm stoked!

At first...I was liking it.

But the more I hear, the more worried I get.

I could care less who is in it or what the plot is. I'll be happy to veg in front of the big screen watching it.

Honestly, I'd rather just have the animated series back. I never really liked DC comics until the Batman animated, Superman and the Justice League/Unlimited shows. Now all we have is The Batman (which isnt too bad) and Legion of Superheroes (which annoys the hell out of me). Neither show can come close to JL/JLU IMHO.

I don't think any show could come close to the animated Justice League.

As for a Justice League movie... I'll have to wait and see what develops. Personally I'd rather have Bale and Welling in for the roles of Bats and Supes respectively (and I'll probably get flack for that last one, but I think he's got the acting chops to pull it off; Routh just didn't look/feel the part to me). But I get the sinking feeling this may end up being more of a star vehicle than anything else.

This movie will be used as a testing ground for individual hero franchises. If people react well to Green Lantern, we might get a GL movie, etc.

LA Times said that the guy who played Seth (the comics lover) on The OC is going to be The Flash. I can very much see that and hope that WB confirms that. Hopefully we'll get a nice movie out of it, but it's way too soon to tell anything yet until we have stars in place, see where they are going with costuming, etc.

Actually a GL movie is already in the works at least in a developmental stage. IMDB is listing a 2010 release date. The Wonder Woman movie is supposedly been put on hold until after the JLA movie to help boost JLA. I thought Wonder Woman had even started filming too.

I'm not positive on any of this tho, I cant remember where I read it.
