Never qiute understood standards myself, but for what its worth:

Primetime is 8PM-10PM. Shows during that period have the most viewers, and predictably if a 'adult' show is on during that time it's almost always at 9 PM. Even if its too on the 'edge' family watchdog groups will complain since its on during primetime. 10 PM on though, such as when Kingpin airs, standards are more relaxed. One still can't curse (Fook, Shyt) but it can be more intense in nature (murder scenes, frex). Still many liberties can be taken. Bitch and ass are still prevelant, like when I heard 'Bitch ass punk' which sounds as good as a curse word to me

Thanks for the info. I gues they are starting to show ratings at the beginnings of shows now also, like the M for Mature, and such. Not a bad show, though, and I will be trying to catch it again. Can't wait to catch the ones I missed in summer reruns also.

They show 'racier' reruns on Bravo Channel this Friday. Check your local listings. For those who caught this Tuesdays (2/11) show, a comment and question:

• 1) Okay. That English scientist is what I call a frickin' villian. Has taste in culture - murals, wine, but he has no redeeming value beyond that. The scene in the hallway where you just heard him in the bedroom was unsettling.
  
• 2) The woman he was caning, I didn't catch what she said (too much sobbing) as she was explaining the situation to Miguel. He put 'something?' in her mouth? It couldn't have been just a BJ ... as a prostitute, that wouldn't have been out of the ordinary. But it freaked her. All I saw was a cut/sore on her lower lip.
  
• 3) What's Miguel Cadena's Alignment?! He had qualms about killing 'innocents' before the takeover - now he seems less concerned (Tomas, FREX), although still hesitant.

Watching the first part of the finale as we speak. I thought the Police Chief was stupid, but now after the bathroom incident he's asking for a death wish. I don't think they made the scene too graphic ... it was blurred out at times, but you only caught the clear flashes so you know exactly whats happening (belt off, pants down). Wonder what's happening in Mexico City ...
