I think she has mentioned to me that her name originated from that movie.
And, a little foible of hers is to use themes to name things. And, what sounds better: The Greater Attleboro ENWorld GameDay, or KahunaCon? Plus, not that I'm a big (or at all) con-goer, but don't they typically have names other than the location - okay, real cons are much bigger, but still...

So, obviously you'd have to ask her, but I think its just to give the gameday name a little character.

They had to discontinue the Tetsubo. While the additon of Hydrogen-boyent technology did improve gas mileage, it was murder on the handling. Speed-bumps tended to launch it into the air. Only so many cars could end up crashing into the second floors of office buildings before the term "Flying Tetsubo" began to gain a negative conotation.

Okay, due to an excess of gaming this weekend, i am unable to finish all my chores. They have spilled over into next weekend. So.....i'm going to have to drop out. I'm sad i won't get to see you all but the next gameday is hopefully just around the corner.....Right Kevin???

And if that doesn't work out, i will totally put my own house up for the assault sometime in the early fall.

Sure! I'm figuring out my schedule for August and September -- not that I plan far ahead, or anything -- so I'll find a good weekend and announce it once the current game day has passed. I think it's my turn!

Sounds good - that'll give me some time to brush up on the rules for the new Pirates of the Spanish Main RPG that just came out!


I'll be hosting a GameDay up here in New Hampshire in late October/early November (after Jon Junior's soccer season ends) so it looks like we're back onto a roughly every-other-month schedule for the New England Gamedays!

Guedo has Albany gameday eight slated for September 22nd, unless that has changed.

Yeah, but that shouldn't impact any New England gamedays. Mav and the local group are the only people that overlap so I wouldn't be upset if another gameday was on the same day.
