Welcome one, welcome all to my newest PBEM, Karasta.
Set in a homebrew world, Karasta is a game of intrigue, adventure and character development(both in levels and social advancement)
Karasta is an island of magical and divine power in a world where magic is very weak, and that attracts those who live for magic. Or who live off of them. In Karasta anything can happen, will happen and has likely happened a hundred times before.
But this is not a human-centric game. In fact, only about 10% of the people who live in the city are humans. Lizardfolk outnumber them 3 to one, and elves, centaurs, giants, dwarves, and a multitude of others roam the streets and find nests in the old walls, or forbidding Undercity. Savage Species, indeed.
This game will be held at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Karasta/ and will feature creatures from Savage Species, as well as rules, classes and prestige classes from virtually any d20 book.
So the game will be:
4-5 8th-12th level characters.
32 point buy
Wide latitude in races, feats, clases, and prestige classes.
DM posts 3-4 times/week. Player posts 3+ per week
Follow the link above and look in the files section for character generation info. I would like to see character concepts including race and class combos in your initial mail to me. Then send in character sheets. Noone will be accepted to the game without a completed character sheet.
