Kerall defeats Snow Owl (style)

Snow Owl turns quietly to look in the direction indicated by her opponent, but keeps him in her peripheral vision. When he moves to strike, she rolls with the punch; when she gets to her feet, she isn’t even bruised.

Then the geyser bursts from beneath the ice. As the great plume of steam billows forth, she blends into the cloud; with her ragged white gi and white-streaked hair, she is all but invisible there. Kerall hears her voice amidst the mists: “So, this is how an ‘honor’ fighter fights. All magic and lies. Did you think you could trick me with your fancy brown belt? I know better; men like you can’t be trusted.”

The cloud of vapor starts to dissipate, but Snow Owl remains unseen. Shielded by the glare of the sun on the ice, she drifts closer to Kerall, stalking him in the silence with the grace of a hunting cat. Then, when the moment is right, she pounces, lashing out with clawed fingers to rake the flesh from his bones!

The panther drifts close to the well; shields the gaze of the ice!

Snow Owl's description has a better harmony with her move.

OOC- I advise you however not to react so directly to your opponents move it makes going last too great an advantage in style matches.

(I put that opinion forth during the Shou Ren-Bright Necromancer style match, but we came to the conclusion that it didn't really matter if you reacted to the opponent's move, since style isn't based on whether it looks like your move would win, but rather on how well written your move is and how well it incorporates your generated move. However, if you'd rather rule that moves must be simultaneous and that the second player can't react to the first player's move in any way, that's fine; just let me know.)

Kerall lifts an eyebrow and tilts his head quizzically. "Can I bring to the judge's attention that a Panther move can't harm me?"

OoC:
:D

Also, what Ciaran said.

The judge grumbles about the Honour path and the dang pile of immunities before changing the flags around.

OOC- Yes in style matches the reactivity doesn't matter at least not to me so I guess it's ok.

Edit- There never was a mistake here :p.

"Juuuuuudge, I think it's 1-0 really..." :D

Chi Strike: The snake devastates the fountain where it bashes the field; redirects the offensive of the iron!

The fight goes on, and as Kerall calls to himself all the energy of his fighting spirit, a glowing azure aura appears around his body. He attacks, with fists as powerful as mauls and kicks as hard as steel, slithering from left to right and right to left to find a weak point in Snow Owl's defense. His white kimono, floating in the wind, give him the aspect of an enraged wraith!

He combines this powerful offensive with a Tai-Chi style defense, deflecting his foe's strikes to the ground. Where the many blows of both combatants fail to connect, and hit the ground instead, deep cracks open in the ice of the glacier and short jets of vapor spring forth.

"More magic!" spits Snow Owl. "You really are no fighter at all."

Slightly shifting her stance, Snow Owl stalks Kerall with a tiger's grace. When he charges in with his powerful fists, she evades his blows with the tiniest of movements, twisting out of the way of his blows as easily as a gust of snow twists in the wind. Intangible as the dawn, she glides around her foe, not attacking yet, but merely seeking an opening in his masterful defenses.

When that opening comes, her demeanor changes instantly and totally. Her eyes harden, her lips pull back from bright bared teeth, and she leaps forward with sudden, animalistic fury! As a predatory beast might pounce upon its prey, she throws all her weight against Kerall's torso to drag him down upon the ice. And as she rakes at his face and body with clawlike nails, she rips hungrily at his throat with her teeth in a bestial frenzy!

The tiger devours the brush; dodges the stab of the bone!

Snow Owl makes a rude gesture. "So is that how it's going to be? Fine. I'll play your game."

At first, Snow Owl concentrates on defense as she breathes deeply and focuses on her chi. As Kerall pushes forward aggressively, enveloped in his shell of azure energy, Snow Owl drifts backwards across the furrowed icefield, warding off blows from his iron-hard fists with calm, economical movements.

A pale light gathers around Snow Owl. The light is stark and cold, like the winter snows, or like the cold light in her eyes. As the light brightens, she slows her retreat, then holds her ground, the light around her burning brightly as the full moon, then brighter still. Then she whirls around to deliver a devastating kick, and the light of her chi gathers into her foot, which blazes bright as the sun, flaring into Kerall's eyes and illuminating the icefield for miles around.

The foot illuminates the ricefield; wards off the aggression of the shell!
