Kevin Smith review of Revenge of the Sith - Spoiler Filled

And here's an example of his viewpoint, taken from the second paragraph of his review.

He's coming strictly from the fanboy camp ("haters"), and isn't a good point of reference for those who disliked the previous two movies.
He was pretty frank about some of the problems with the first two. He just didn't vent his spleen at every opportunity as some do. I think it's worth taking his review seriously. There's a big difference between the people who went into the theater, noted some problems and had fun anyway and the rabid fanboys, after all.

I'm a little fuzzy on the timeline for the movies... AFAIK, ep3 ends with the birth of Luke and Leia... ep4 takes place about 18-20 years later (I'm guessing at Luke's age here). It seems to me there's a whole lot going on in between the movies hinted at the beginning of ep4: the rise of the Rebellion, their first victory against the Empire, and the stealing of the Death Star's plans (which, apparently, also takes about 20 years to build). Ever wonder if George will spring an 'out of sequence' movie on us sometime to cover all this?
TV Series?

Its worth noting that Smith IS a rabid fanboy.

Which is why I trust his opinion, because I'm one, too. Its not a requirement of a rabid fanboy to complain about the prequels, believe it or not. :D

...covered in upcoming novels, and [maybe] this upcoming TV series, unless he's already stated when it's supposed to take place, and I missed it.

At CIII we got confirmation that the series is set between III and IV, and will focus on some supporting characters from the movies.
