Funny, no one made this connection yet! Although it seems quite obviously linked, from this description.
It's not, though - we don't have Sanity or anything like it. Instead, when you socket a Crystal you get a Hindrance. We're not trying to be grim and dark like Rippers; although some of the more powerful Crystals might have a semi-horrific influence on their bearer. (We added two Heroic Agents with such Crystals, you can download them from the main page)
