Killer Rabbits and Singing Cows on Broadway

Ferox4

First Post
I just stumbled across this the other day and thought I would share it with you. An adaptation of Monty Python's The Holy Grail opens on Broadway in March. It's called Spamalot.

I realize that this may have been posted on the boards by now, but in the off chance that someone missed it I am throwing it out there. Below is a link to the article in The New Yorker - it's quite humorous.

Spamalot

I for one will likely check it out this spring/summer. I mean c'mon - Hank Azaria playing Sir Lancelot and the Frenchman; Tim Curry playing King Arthur; and David Hyde-Pierce (from Frasier) playing Sir Robin - it has to be a riot.

"Oh, yes, and it's very nice..."

Cheers

i know it was opening here in Chicago in the not-to-distant future, but i heard it was all sold out pretty quickly. :(

I saw the show here, in Chicago, where it was gearing up for its broadway run. It was brilliant! I highly recommend you catch it if you get a chance.

Just wait until you hear "The Song that Goes Like This."

Brilliant show...simply brilliant.

More like the past...my roommate and I saw it with a couple of friends...and he's going to New York to catch it again this summer.

It certainly is a hot ticket. I was just checking out prices the other day, and most are around $100. But you can get tickets from $40-$200. Opens March 17, I think, though I think they're previewing now.

I'll just add my voice as being one who saw it in Chicago last month.

It's freaking hysterical and I highly recommend it to anyone who gets a chance to see it.

Especially if it still has Tim Curry, Hank Azaria and David Hyde Pierce in the cast. Simply outstanding.

man, i dropped the ball... i only hope it gets filmed at some point so losers like me get a chance to see it in at least some form. :p
