Knockback feat?

Jeff Wilder

First Post
I'm 99 percent positive I read a feat in an official WotC source that allows an attacker to knock a smaller defender away 5 feet with a successful melee attack. It's not in the SRD, as far as I can find, and I don't have my books with me.

Does anybody recall this feat? Its source? Specifics?

There was, IIRC, a Knockdown feat in 3.0 (Sword and Fist?).

In 3.5, there's the Awesome Blow feat in the MM (pg.303), which lets a large or bigger creature send a smaller enemy flying 10 ft backward.

IIRC there is something similar in the Miniatures handbook, either a feat or a PrC special ability that allowed you to do something similar, but you had to be able to move into the newly vacated square.
Also on or more of the tactical feats may have that ability.

are you thinking of "large and in charge"? i forget the specifics but it essentialy let a creature knock smaller creatures back to its reach distance (IIRC)

There's the clouting weapon ability that let's you knock someone back 10feet (IIRC) when you hit them and if they fail a Fort Save of DC19.

And the Knockback ability which can be placed on bows which allows you to bullrush opponents struck. Add the Exit Wound ability for comic effect and 40+ die rolls.

Besides the feat in the MM, I don't know of anything else.
