D&D 5E Kobold Press: Can They Take On The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting?

I would be very relecutant to purchase something FR campaign without Greenwoods input, IMO he is the reason we have the Realms. I would further add that a Greenwood/Grubb partnership would be a perfect match, both have shaped the FR to be what it is. I dont believe that either were contracted with the 4e FR book, and we see what happened there.

i think Ed lacks a lot of restraint when it comes to the realms. his best advice has always been to ignore vast swathes of his lore.

I'm not sure if I agree with that. We get "pure Ed" in Elminster's Guide to the Forgotten Realms and a lot of people, including non-FR fans, seem to like that.

Edit: I think any lack of restraint shows in the way he writes novels. Clearly Ed's a bright guy and he can handle multiple plot lines at once. Not all of his readers can.... :)
