I fianlly broke down and got an X box, and I hear this game is great, but what are the benefits, if any, of getting it for the X-box instead of the pc?

The (somewhat depressing) truth is that this is a console game with a PC port (despite all their BS about making "two versions"), and it just runs more smoothly and hassle-free on the X-box. Unless you have a high-end computer, it'll probably also look slightly better on the X-box.

I'll second that. I've got an ATi Radeon 9800, 1GB RAM, 2.8 GHz P4 w/ 800 MHz FSB, and that seems to be just enough to run Halo (like deus ex and kotor, ported to PC from XBox). In fact, I still can't get a framerate much higher than 30fps with all the graphic goodies turned on running at 1280x1024 (though it runs great at 1152x864)Tsyr said:"Handle it", yes. "Run it well", don't be so sure. Kotor and Deus Ex 2 are both system killers because of bad optimization resulting in poor simultanious development for 'box and PC.
And it's the same game either way.
