Ximix quietly nods at Richard's thanks, awaiting his answer to Manon's question.
While he waits the Elf will carefully examine Richard's head, feeling for anything unusual, looking for anything abnormal.
Spot check on Richards' head = 17
Healing skill check on Richards' head = 20 Rolls

Richard recants

"you heard vocies?" manon chimes in seeing the man awake and studying him. "do you remember seeing anything else out there?"

Richard considers Manon and his question. He still appears rather dazed, but is obviously trying to recall the moments before he fell unconscious. He expression changes to reflect confusion.

"Actually, I think I did see somesomething. I am not sure, but as I heard the voices it seems like I was surrounded by darkness. It surrounded me in ribbons; crackling and wiggling."

As Richard speaks Ximix takes the opportunity to examine him. Richard winces as Ximix's probing fingers discover a large bruise on the back of his head.

Responding to Richard's story, Rich Gorth turns to the adventuers and asks, "Crackling drakness? Shrieking voices? Skeletons? What is happening around here?"

"what in the world is going on out here" manon whispers to himself obviously a little concerned. "talk sense man. Theres obviously some foul craft at work here...ximix, do you know of anything that could be responsible for osmehting like this?" the rouge still speaks calmy but his eyes dart back and forth as if some undead horror might leap out at any moment. fingering his daggers underneath his sleeves and out of sight in case they might be necessary.

OOC: Healing check on the bruise:11 Not so great, Ximix will go ahead and use one more Orison to channel healing directly into the wound, hopefully removing further chance of injury while possibly helping clear Richards head (I can hope!)./OOC

Ximix pauses when Richard winces, he seems to concentrate for a short time, probing with his fingers which elicits a few grunts of pain from the prone man. Finally giving up on his poor doctoring skills, Ximix falls back on his Divine gifts, channeling another small healing spell.
Hands hidden behind the mans head, the telltale glow is still visible as the Elven priest speaks, "Fain-alye'serin fallanelle"*.

Richard reaches back and tenderly touches the back of his head. He looks at Ximix and says, "Thanks again priest, that helped a bit." Richard pauses and seems to concetrate, "You know, I think I heard something russle leaves just before I saw the darkness." Richard again takes on a contemplative look, "but, I don't remember seeing or hearing anything else."

OOC: Ximix does not know what Richard observed or how he was injured. He does not know how this could be related to skeletons.

OOC: JonnyFive, there has been no post for Razin in over a week. Are you still there?

Rich Gorth responds, "I can't remember how we found him. Do you think that it is important? We could ask young Kyle, he might remember."

"i doubt that the direction the attack came from will make a significant difference in this case. he obviously cant recall who or what attacked him. or even why. " manon speaks. "id suggest we let him rest for now. i think it may also be better if we gathered everyone together so we can keep track of the people on the farm. i dont think anyone should be out and about on their own at this point."
