I'm brand new around here, but if you're willing to take on a total newbie, I'm game.

Sure, we've all got to start somewhere. If you have any questions let me know. Although we're currently only @ 2/5 spots filled so I need to wait until 1 adventure ends for sure.

Hey, I'm totally new to D&D, never played any edition. I just submitted my character (Xoc, an Orc Warlord, at the bottom of the character sandbox) for approval.

I just had a couple of questions. When will the second Player's Handbook be approved so I can make classes from it? Some of the new classes look really interesting. Second, can I post in the Hanged Man Inn before my character gets approved, so I can get in on the next adventure?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, didn't know where to post. Thanks a bunch!

Here's a countdown for potential PHB2 approval. According to the charter, new sources need to be around for at least three months before they can be approved. As you can imagine, there has already been some discussion, and nobody has found anything that needs to be excluded yet.

You can absolutely post in the Hanged Man before your character is approved. I'm not sure if you can post a character from a not-yet-approved-source, though. Anybody?

My character was built completely from sources that are already approved, so that shouldn't be an issue for me. I saw a couple of PHB2 classes in the character sandbox, though!

I'm really excited about the second handbook...it seems wrong that the Striker role has three classes, but if you want a controller, you have to go Wizard - so either you have too many Wizards floating around in relation to other classes, or not enough Controllers to fill up parties.
