Lake Geneva Gaming Convention III

No other takers on this? Hmm .... No wonder it is such a informal event.

Well - all the nicer for those there, eh? :D
Not sure as to what you are referring to, but the organizers and the majority of the atendees of the LGGC have had their fill of regimented events and most enjoy a friendly and informal gaming get-together :D

Cheers,
Gary

I felt the Milwaukee Gamefest of '04 (Where I first met you, actually) was a fairly un-organized event...

...of course that probably wasn't by design!

Heh,

The sponsor of the MGF convention lacked sufficient staff. Too bad, as the event could have been a fine one.

Cheers,

I'll be there. Probably won't arrive until friday morning, however.

I'll be bringing a Basic/Expert adventure, using the Moldvay Basic rules.

Here are the reasonably priced places to eat that I recommend:

Olympic, about two blocks from the con site: breakfast, lunch, supper.
Culver's, about three blocks ditto: top shelf burgher joint.
Next Door Pub: (an old TSR hangout) about a mile north ditto: Italian food/Pizza & beer.

Anyone going to be in the Delevan, Williams Bay. or Pell Lake area holler, and I'll pass along recommendations for those places as well.

Cheerio,
Gary

Attending GenCon is akin to visiting New York City, while attending the LGGC is sorta like touring Keokuk with a bunch of friends

Sorry. I understood the scale. I just meant that I like the idea of hanging out and chatting gaming, whether it's in Wisconsin or Indiana. And Wisconsin's closer.

Ever try and have a conversation on a busy street corner?
