Latest Wizards Cover Botch

Hopefully they'll discard "Stormwrack" in favor of "Wet & Wild" or "Slippery When Wet." We wouldn't want the chance that anyone wouldn't understand "Stormwrack," would we? :p

I just used the word "maelstrom" at lunch a couple days ago, and only the German guy didn't recognize it. I guess it's most familiar in "maelstrom of controversy," a favorite turn of phrase among journalists. I have noticed that many people incorrectly take it as a synonym for "storm" though.

I'm more disappointed that the DMG II isn't blue. :p

Oh, for cryin' out loud. The cover pics in the WotC catalog are mock-ups and don't mean jack. The online catalog still shows Unearthed Arcana with a brown cover, instead of the black (or really dark green depending on who you talk to) cover it had in print.

And I seem to remember Charles Ryan, himself, dropping by a thread and mentioning that the DMG II is in fact, blue covered.

So nyah, DaveMage. NYAH! ;)

No, he said the cover was the same color (and spine was the same color) as Unearthed Arcana.

So - the spine will be tan and the cover a dark, dark green (almost black in appearance).

*Edit - see this thread: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=119967 reply #25 and #44.
