Round 769

C. Bono bites (rolled 36) Sal on hits approach for 7 points of damage.
Sal retaliates by having his spear bounce off C. Bono's hide (rolled 13+2=15).

C. Bono breathes at Sal (natural 1 Ref save) for 53 points of force damage. Sal is defeated. C. Bono is at 50N20E, and has 225 HP remaining.

First in round 770 for Lawfu Evil is Ysaurithus the young blue dragon (Draconomicon and Monster Manual). Everything about her that is not in the Monster Manual has just been E-mailed to you, Ugulu.

OOC: Bloody 'ell - I posted (or thought I posted) but there is nothing showing. Must now have clicked 'post'. I think the move was...

Ysa double-moves, using one to straight east and gain lots of height (45z in 90') then curls around to face west at 45n90e60z.

Q: how does the cloud effect Ysa? I'm guessing by "hemisphere of 60' diameter" that it's a centered on Bono, but is the shape like a bowl, or an inverted bowl, and is it 5' ft high, or does it's go all the way up to 20' regardless of Bono's height in the air?

I hope we get to giant vs. giant for awhile - need some simple beatings w/o thinking. :-)

A: I would say it goes up 60 feet, otherwise it would not be hemispherical. The radius is from the ground directly below the dragon. Ysa can move normally through the cloud, and can pinpoint C. Bono using blindsense within 60 feet.

Until the BoAA, I did not realize there were so many things that were debatable in D&D.

About the simple beatings - what do you think C. Bono has been doing all this time? :)

Ah...ok. So it's like an upside-down bowl, with the flat on the ground and rising to a point directly above the dragon.

Heh - that's a well deserved cheap shot. I never thought I'd find a +83 a good thing, but man, this dragon is taking a pounding. Or, minor, ignorable scratches I suppose...

Ysa will do a loop (W,N,S,W) to end up at 55n 75e 65z, then provide Bono with a little electrical wake up.

Ysa's breath is a 60' line, so she is too far away to breathe at C. Bono. I will allow the breath, but you will have to reposition Ysa.

Round 771

C. Bono dodges the wake up (27 Ref save), taking 7 points of electrical damage. C. Bono has 218 HP remaining. Ysa can breathe again in round 773.

C. Bono hovers up to 50N35E15Z and breathes back. Ysa does not dodge (19 Ref save), taking 48 points of force damage. Ysa has 54 HP remaining.

OOC: I was told there would be no math...

Ysa isn't going to win duking it out, and doesn't want to see more force waves....so dives straight down and burrow to 55n 65e -15z. If Bono can dig, trouble - otherwise wait for the draw.

OOC: <sniff> friggin' dragons...

OOC: There is always math. Nothing is more important than math.

OOC: Ratsafrassin' burrowers...

Bono might be able to find Ysa underground is Ysa stays put, but I am going under the assumption that Ysa will bury herself deeper.

A draw is declared after round 776.

First in round 777 for Lawful Evil is another burrower, a young rust dragon (Draconomicon). It has the maxed out skills Diplomacy, Listen, Search, and Spot. It has the feats Alertness, Flyby Attack, Hover, Shape Breath, and Weapon Focus (bite).

After the dragon enters, Gansk will announce what Neutral creature enters the arena.
