I was mistaken about one thing. Rusty does not have 10 foot reach with bite, so he cannot attack before diving.

Round 784: Rusty breathes for 6. Rusty gets hit for 4. Qblob 110 HP, Rusty 67 HP.
Round 788: Rusty breathes for 6. Rusty gets hit for 5. Qblob 104 HP, Rusty 62 HP.
Round 791: Rusty breathes for 8. Rusty gets hit for 8. Qblob 96 HP, Rusty 54 HP.
Round 794: Rusty breathes for 15. Rusty gets hit for 8. Qblob 81 HP, Rusty 46 HP.
Round 798: Rusty breathes for 9. Rusty gets hit for 8. Qblob 72 HP, Rusty 38 HP.
Round 801: Rusty breathes for 8. Rusty gets hit for 6. Qblob 64 HP, Rusty 32 HP.
Round 803: Rusty breathes for 6. Rusty gets hit for 7. Qblob 58 HP, Rusty 25 HP.
Round 805: Rusty breathes for 8. Rusty gets hit for 13. Qblob 50 HP, Rusty 12 HP.

Rusty can breathe again in round 807. As Rusty could conceivably be knocked out in one blow, what do you want to do next?

That's the right attitude.

Round 807: Rusty breathes for 7. Rusty gets critically hit for 11. Qblob 43 HP, Rusty 1 HP.
Round 811: Rusty breathes for 16. Rusty gets hit for 11. Qblob 27 HP, Rusty dying.

Quickblob is at 30N90E5Z, with 27 HP remaining.

First in round 812 for Lawful Evil is a ghost fighter (Monster Manual). Note that this is a ghost with the fighter class, not one who fights ghosts. Also, it is the first CR 7 monster for Lawful Evil. Woo hoo!

Venkman enters the arena, but only the True Seeing bots pick him. He runs to 45n 85e 10z, not yet manifested.
 




OOC: Hmm...guess manifesting as a standard action should have dawned on me eh?

Venkman will stand-in and slam away until he wins or drops below 12hp.
 

OOC: I denied the readied attack because of reach issues, but you're right, you can't manifest and ready in the same round.

Quickblob's slam passes through Venkman.

Same result for Quickblob.

Round 816: Venkman misses. (Rolled 9) Quickblob withdraws to 35N95E110Z.
