Round 256: Hermie bites for 5 total, scorpion squeezes the claw for 10+8 constrict = 18! The scorpion has 17 hp, Hermie is defeated!

The scorpion steps to 65N35E and crits with a claw for 18 points of damage! Sol has 8 hp left and is pulled into the scorpion's square! The scorpion takes 3 fire damage as a result and has 14 hp left.

But the scorpion is not done. It stings Sol for another 8 plus 2 Con damage! The scorpion takes another 6 fire damage and has 8 hp left.

Round 258: Sol is defeated!

Next up for LE: a wight! (MM) It goes first in round 258.
 

The CN crowd laughs at the poor showing of the flamebrother. Pip nudges Apip in the ribs. "You'd think he'd remember which side of the arena he enters on. I mean, all he had to do was step into the arena and set that spear for a charge. "

Apip says, "Dunno. Maybe he's never used a spear before."

Wally the Wight, looking way too happy for a dissicated undead killer, charges to 65N 35E and tries to end this bugs life in the hopes of joining combat with a spawn-able humanoid.
 

Round 258

The wight charges to a chorus of boos, still intended for the salamander.

It barely misses. (Rolled 13+2 for charge = 15)

The scorpion hits with a claw for 7 and pulls Wally into its square. Then it hits with the other claw for another 5. Wally has 14 hp left.
 

Wally is pretty unhappy about missing. Almost as unhappy as he is about being grappled. Which is almost as unhappy he is about the existence of all living creatures...and in this specific case, a well armored scorpion. All he can do is slam away and hope not to be torn in half.
 

Round 259

The crowd boos Wally to add to his misery.

Wally misses. The scorpion squeezes Wally for 10+5 constrict = 15 points of damage!

Wally is destroyed! The crowd boos louder!
