I like it!...not sure if I'll buy this, though. I COULD use another PHB, and I AM a sucker for things like this...but...hmm...maybe I'll be lucky and have no money. :)

Cool.

Is the cover the only change?

Pretty much. It has new endpapers and I think a new trim, but that's it.

Wasted opportunity, IMO. I mean, they could have at least corrected errata, but they chose not to.

$75 for a pretty cover and endpapers.

Gee.

You know what? I'm sure it still has the awful, much loathed and dreaded, background lines behind the text.

I never quite understood the animosity against those lines. IMO they were quite good.

I can imagine the outrage had they done that "Evli Wotc! It fails almost every aspect of a copmany, chagring for errata! My hate of WCot know no limit!"

Yes, that could be a valid criticsm, but they could also be releasing a 2nd printing of the non-deluxe PHB with the errata fixed also. I mean, it *has* been out for over a year now. That way you still wouldn't have to buy the deluxe one. I mean, if they were to say, yes, this has the errata fixed, but no, you don't have to buy it since the regular one will be out on [date], then the issue is moot.
