Leather Bound PHB Cover Image

Hang on, I thought I read somewhere that this would have errata. Is there a page or interview somewhere that says either way?

Because it has a leather cover and nifty endpapapers, I would feel that the book would be a cool purchase, but then later (upon further reflection) I would feel like I'd been suckered. I think I'll pass on this ploy to fleece me of what little money I have and go have lunch instead.

People. It's a collector's edition. If you aren't into buying collector's things that cost premium dollar than it was never intended for you. Simple as that.

Me? I'm a sucker for this nonsense so I'll be picking up a copy. And I'll probably never even crack it open.

A collector's edition? BULL!!! It's just another ploy from WOTC to fleece us out of our money like D&D3.5 is. WOTC is getting more greedy as time goes by and I refuse to support them

Um...that's what ALL Collector's Editions are. Just ploys to get money from poor saps like me who ENJOY having things like this.

I'll be buying it. Because I like Leather bound books in my Library. Currently all my Roleplay books are in a cupboards.

This will be the first RolePlay book to get onto the shelves of my Library.

I think it's unfortunate that leatherbound editions of modern books don't happen more often (I'd even accept Leatherette). Only about 1% of my modern novels have made it into my library. All the rest are in my Gaming room.

So for those of you saying there is no point to it. What you mean is that it is not aimed at you as a consumer.

WotC is a business. Everything they do could essentially be called a ploy to fleece us out of our money.

my hate of d02 know no limit

If I was making some reasonable money, I'd consider it. However, I need to think Races of Stone + Shadows of the Last War + Libris Mortis > Collecters PH.

It's really just a collector thing, so... not for me. ;)

Well put, It's not for me but if I wanted a shiny new PHB for collecting I'd get it. If they did add the Erreta it'd be like saying, yeah you can have a PHB with the erreta, but it'll cost you $75
