Leaving ENworld at last

The problem with Paizo boards is nothing ever happens there. I'll wait for hours for anyone to respond to anything.

It isn't as fast as it is here, but I usually see numerous new posts every hour. There are several recent threads that I haven't even had enough time to read in their entirety. Unless you're doing boards all day long, I can't think of why that would be a problem.

I need to ask this:

So whats wrong with the 3E board here ?

I understand that there should be 4E posts at the 4E board, but not in the 3E board. What is so wrong with it that after 5 years as a member here you decided to go on for greener pastures?

Oh well...

...happy trails.

The specific 3e and 4e forums are for rule discussions specific to that system.

General RPG Discussion right now does not seem to be conducive to discussing the general RPG area. I come here for RPG info of all types. I also come here to discuss different aspects of different gaming systems. It seems that discussions about D&D regarding anything other than absolute love of 4e devolve into edition wars which get banned. When I have to think that if I post a criticism of 4e will it get me banned, I wonder why I'm still here.

Several posts have surfaced about how people do not like $e. I wonder if they will get banned.

Always hate to see long timers go. Good luck to you.

I feel the same way as of late, the boards are slow and the feel has changed a lot.

Let me know if you find a nice board somewhere, of course for me it would be a 4e one ;)

Well I have to say I agree about enworld being lagging.....I even lagged out trying to respond to this thread

I've been hanging out on rpg.net

I think the worst part lately is that both "sides" are so sure they're the victims. 3E fans claim they always get flamed by 4E fans, and 4E fans claim they always get flamed by 3E fans. Both "sides" claim moderator bias. It gets tiresome.

Both sides claim moderator bias because the moderation can be touch and go at times. I've seen BLATENTLY insulting posts go by several times, aimed at both sides, only to find that the person reporting those insulting posts is the one banned from the thread.

So true, just shows which side of the fence I lean on.
