it's my first time... and yeah, I'm pretty damn excited. *happy dance*

Anywho. It's my first time at the Con...and I get to see TDC and Seri again (haven't seen them since New Year's 2005). Not to mention, my boyfriend will be there as well. Can't get any better than that.

Oh...and we leave on Tuesday at 7am. So, I only have 14 days left. (Thank god! Work is driving me batty!)

If we manage to get our stuff together, we could be leaving here as early as Friday, August 4th. (Barry White voice Oooooooh yeah...

That's right. Leaving in 11 days.

Taking our time driving down, stopping along the way at Sandbanks Provincial Park on Lake Ontario for a day or two, visiting Toronto, Detroit, then pulling in to Indianapolis on Tuesday the 8th.

excited? well, i suppose i will be - i've got so much to do between now and then... we're moving to a new apartment on saturday, and busy packing and moving boxes a little every day. plus, we're ridiculously broke, and really should not be taking a trip out of town to spend a few hundred bucks. i hope i can actually breathe by the time i get to the con!

I leave Tuesday at 6:00 PM from the airport. Unfortunately I lay over in WI and Atlanta (don't ask me why, how the heck should I know) and arrive at 8:30 AM on Wed. 3.5 hours before the Con start time. I hope Amerisuites lets me check in early. Assuming no delays.

So...I'm going to have to join the "I'm not as excited as I could be" crowd. Once again, the Army is waiting until the last minute to tell us whether Mik can go or not, so it's really difficult to make any sort of plans. Once we finally find out, I think then I can be excited, but that might not be until August 13, with the track record we had last year...
